Hey Media Person. We love you. Have we mentioned that?

Media Contact: Brent Hirose

VIIF 2009

SOON we will post our media package, including history, performer bios, and more.

VIIF is a locally-run and not-for-profit theatre society that depends on word of mouth to fill our seats and spread knowledge about improvisation as an art form.

As such, VIIF is more than interested in previews and reviews of our festival shows, and interviews with our visiting and local artists. Please contact our Media Contact, Brent Hirose, for more information.

What people have been saying about VIIF:

“The possibilities for playfulness are endless.”Colin Thomas, Georgia Straight

“The best part of this festival is the level of the work, the spontaneous surprises at every turn, and the smiles on everyone’s faces.”Randy Dixon, Artistic Director of Unexpected Productions, Seattle

“If you’ve never been blown away by improv before, you haven’t been to the VIIF. Whatever you thought improv was…you’re right. But it’s also so much more.” - Guy MacPherson, Georgia Straight Fall Arts Preview, Sept. 17/09

“The shows that I saw were top-notch and had some of the best work I have seen at a festival—or anywhere, for that matter. The art form is alive and well in Vancouver.”Bob Dassie, Instructor/Performer,  ioWest, Los Angeles
