Sehar Manji

Sehar Manji is a Nairobi-born, Montreal-based improviser, writer and comedienne. She trained in short-form and long-form improv at the Montreal Improv Theatre for 5 years where she was also a  member of their house teams, Night Bus (2013 – 2014) and Helmüt (2014 – 2016).  She is currently improvises with Coffee Break and Danny & Sehar and is half of the sketch duo, Big Mall (with Vance Gillis) which performed at the Montreal Sketchfest in May 2016. She co-wrote and performed (alongside Lar Vi) in the Frankie-nominated, whirlwind comedy, “Total Liquidation” at the 2015 Montreal Fringe Festival and will be appearing in “The Kicker” at the festival in June 2016.  Three things that are important to her in comedy are truth, sincerity and simplicity. It appears that ‘moderation’ has has yet to make the list.

Team ECHO Performs Wednesday October 5th and Saturday October 8th at The Revue Stage. For tickets Click Here.
